If you're looking for a nicer / fancier spot for hot pot, I'd recommend checking out Wagyu House. They have a great selection of high quality meats (Wagyu + imported Japanese Wagyu). The interior feels more up-scale! And great service. We ordered the Chef's Tasting for Two which was perfect. For soup base, the Golden Chicken Soup was super flavorful. It balanced the spicy broth we got - Spicy Dripping Pot. SUPER spicy. It's definitely pricier than most hot pot restaurants. But worth a try!

If you are obsessed with Chinese hotpot and also kind of a wagyu snob who can taste the difference between Australian vs Japanese Wagyu, be sure to try this place out. Only top-of-the-line premium meats make the cut here. Presentation is stellar and the salad/sauce bar is well maintained. This is not AYCE, it’s a la carte so choose wisely as a lunch can become rather expensive.

Food was delicious, very high quality wagyu and delicious soup bases, the strawberry shaved ice dessert was phenomenal, a bit on the expensive side but very good place for a celebration or dinner outing. Our server Brian was very friendly and accommodating. He seemed to really care about our experience and I would definitely come back here again.

Obviously, Wagyu House is the most fancy Hot Pot restaurant in LA. High quality meat, luxurious decoration, and great service too. We celebrated my brother’s birthday here. 5 people, $498.00, a little bit pricey, but every one was very satisfied. If you’re looking for nice hot pot restaurant, highly recommend!

I came here once to treat my little brother before he left for university, and the experience was incredible so I came here again for my own university graduation lunch with friends and family :] The experience is phenomenal and I loooove the atmosphere. The service was so kind and helped us through each step since the choices were overwhelming haha. The food was so good, even my friends who aren't used to Asian cuisine enjoyed the food here a lot!

Love the broth and meat here. My favorite would be the golden chicken and the spicy mala one. Meat quality is super fresh with options of A5 Wagyu and regular wagyu meat.

I had an absolutely fantastic experience during my visit! Our waitress Victoria was incredibly attentive, friendly, and made sure we had everything we needed without ever being intrusive. She greeted us with a warm smile, offered great menu suggestions, and was quick to refill drinks and check in on us at just the right moments. Her positive attitude and professionalism truly enhanced the dining experience. The timing of the meal was perfect, and she made us feel right at home. I couldn’t have asked for better service—definitely a 10/10 experience! Highly recommend!

Lots of waygu meat options for hotpot and the usual hotpot items like Halideo. The service was great. We ordered too much so it's better to go with more than 2 people so you can try more items. It does cost more than other places. For Waygu meat, you'll have to expect that.
